1. Junior Pharmacist
Department : Health Centre, N.B.U.
No of Post : 1 post [UR]
Pay Band – 2 : Rs. 7200 – 25,400/- + G.P.:Rs. 3,300/-
Essential Qualifications:
i. B.Pharm from a recognized University with min 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale
ii. Must be registered with the appropriate body in the State.
Experience :
i. Minimum of 2 (two) years experience in Government hospital / Health Centre in substantive / Health Centre of dressings of the patients and have experience to maintain records of the Medical Stores and Patients.
ii. M. Pharm with specialization in Pharmacology / Toxicology.
Age Limit : Maximum age limit 40 years. Relaxable in case of exceptionally qualified candidate.
2. Electro-Instrumentation Officer
Department : Chemistry, N.B.U.
Post : 1 post [UR]
Pay Band : Rs. 15,600 – 39,100/- + G.P. Rs. 6,000/-
Essential Qualifications:
i. M.Sc. / M.Tech. with 55% marks or its equivalent grade
ii. Two years experience in the Operation and maintenance of Infrared, UV-visible Spectrophotometre, Polarographs, Flame Photometre, Ozonator and other sophisticated instruments and electro instruments or
2 (two) years experience of teaching of Electronics / Instrument Instrumentations as subject in U.G. level at the Govt;. recognized
higher education of learning.
iii. Working knowledge in electronics.
iv. Ability to design and fabricate equipments.
Age Limit : Age not below 30 years. Relaxable in case of exceptionally qualified candidates, Max. age limit 50 years.
3. Micro-Analyst
Department : Chemistry, N.B.U.
No of Post : 1 post [UR]
Pay Band : Rs. 15,600 – 39,100/- + G.P. Rs. 6,000/-
Essential Qualifications:
i. Master’s Degree in Chemistry or M. Tech. with minimum 55% marks or
its equivalent grade in the point scale wherever a grading system is followed.
Experience : At least 2 (Two) years experience in Microanalysis in a recognized laboratory or institute (coleman etc..).
Age Limit : Maximum age limit 50 years

Pharmacist : Rs. 500/-
Micro-Analyst/Electro-Instrument Officer : 600/-
In the form of Bank Draft drawn in favour of “University of North Bengal” payable at the NBU Campus Branch of the State Bank of India should be attached with the application form.
General instructions
i. Candidates who have applied earlier in response to Advt. No. 33/R-13 dated 21.02.2013 & Advt. No. 34/R-13
dated 21.02.2013 are required to apply again, however, such applicants may quote old bank draft number submitted earlier and shall purchase a new bank draft of the rest amount of enhanced application fee.
ii. No application other than prescribed application form will be considered.
iii. Candidates must write the “Advt. No.” and “Name of the Post Applied For” on the top of the envelope.
iv. Application by post, hand or by courier service will be accepted.
v. Incomplete applications, applications without self-attested copies of certificates, applications without the requisite fees, or applications received after the due date are liable to be rejected.
vi. Filled-in application forms (ONE SET) along with two self-addressed unstamped envelope (25 cm X 13 cm) and one copy of the recent passport size photograph (identical with the same pasted in the form) and other documents regarding citizenship (by registration), age, qualification, and experience duly attested by the candidate must be sent by Registered Post only and must reach to the Office of the Registrar on or before 27th Sep.
